The Walking Veteran Makes a Stop in Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Arkansas is the latest stop for a disabled veteran who’s pushing for change within the Department of Veterans Affairs. In May Thomas Wayne Hudson began walking across America. He started in Las Vegas and made it to Little Rock to talk to officials here. Mister Hudson says it’s his mission to rally as much support as possible to fix the fundamental problems within the VA. Thomas Hudson  “the walking veteran”, “This is not just about me. This is about all veterans and families of veterans. We want change. The VA is a broken system, we are not looking to the va to change itself. That’s like the fox guarding the henhouse. ” Mister Hudson says his walk across America will finish on Veterans Day in November with a rally in Washington DC.
